Heroic coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu has revealed that TyLoo have not yet decided whether they will be taking part in ELEAGUE Major Boston.
The Asia Minor runners-up recently learned that they will not be able to field their full roster at the Major after Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand's visa application was rejected by the US Embassy.
Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu, who left TYLOO in November to coach HEROIC, was announced as the Chinese team's stand-in at the event as he was part of the squad when it finished second to Renegades at the Asia Minor, in October.
However, the Brazilian coach has now posted a tweet in which he reveals that TYLOO could withdraw from the event, this way skipping what would be their first-ever Major.
"It is still not decided whether I am playing or TyLoo will forfeit their spot," peacemaker wrote.
"I have stated several times publicly that I do not want to play. I am a coach, not a player, we will see what happens. Thanks for the support."
peacemaker's tweets will only fuel discussion about the roster rules in place at the Major circuit. Liquid and SK will both have to field stand-ins as well, and Astralis could have to turn to coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen in case Nicolai "device" Reedtz does not recover from his medical issue in time for the event.
ELEAGUE Major Boston will run from January 12 to 28 and will feature for the first time 24 teams after Valve recently decided to overhaul the competition to include the qualifying phase.
Ive been not 100% publicly transparent w my things in the past and that cost me a lot of headache, so..
